What happens next and how much does it cost?
Charges are based on the requirements of your pet and yourself, the number of visits needed and the type of pets that you wish me to care for.
Prices usually start from £7.00 per day* but the best thing to do is give me a ring on 07904 938 738 or drop me an EMAIL and I will give you a quote.
If you’re happy with the price and want to go ahead and book me we can arrange a mutually convenient time for me to come and meet your pet and yourself in your own home. This will give you the opportunity to go through your pets requirements, where their food is kept etc.
During this meeting you’ll be given two forms. This first one will be your booking confirmation, this if for you to keep. The second will be for you to fill out with your emergency telephone numbers (hopefully these won’t need to be used), feeding instructions, your preferred vet, and any special instructions, this form is for me to keep. I also carry a copy of my police check certificate which you are welcome to check if you’d like to.
At the end of the care period I will leave you an invoice. Payment terms are strictly within 5 days from the date of the invoice. Give me a call within these 5 days and I will come and collect payment from you and hand back your keys at the same time.
* If you do not have any pets but would like me to check on your home for you in your absence then the price per day will obviously be discounted significantly.
I work alone so I’m the only person who will handle your keys and have access to your home. They will never be passed onto anyone else to check on your pets.
Keys are always handed back in person. Give me a call when you return and we can arrange a mutually convenient time for me to drop your keys off and collect your payment at the same time.
Under no circumstances will keys be pushed back through letter boxes or left with anyone else. This is incase you are delayed in returning home and need me to continue caring for your pet. Also, as I’m responsible for your keys in your absence I will only know they are safely back in your hands if I’m the one to place them there.
I would also recommend that you add my phone number 07904 938 738 into your mobile. If you decide to extend your time away, or get delayed at the airport or you simply just aren’t going to make it home when you expected then give me a call or a text and I will continue caring for your pet until I know you are home safely.
